nascar 2003 install problem

Error Installing Nascar 2003 I am trying to install NASCAR 2003 to my computer. It's a Dell Computer using Windows XP. When I go to install at 23% of the installation I am getting an error. The error is as follows: Media Name:data Component:lesson File Group: Lesson File: E:/data2.cab Error#: -2147024873
I cannot get past the error. It prompts me to go to online support but that is no longer available. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Would appreciate any suggestions on how to fix. I purchased the game from someone on Ebay. States he never had a problem with it????

sims 2 installing problem norton 360 premier edition

SIMS 2 Problem after installing Norton 360 premeir edition I have been playing SIMS 2 for a while with no problem. Occasionally there would be blue screen. But after running system scans it would be OK again.

My virus software was running out so I updated to Norton 360.

When I tried to play the above error came up.

I tried to uninstall in the add-install program and it would not uninstall. I ended up deleting it.

I then tried to re install which was fine.

When I tried to play again the same error has come up.

Can anyone give me an idea of what is going on.

Is the SIMS game dangerous to my computer?

I dont see what error you are referring to you should be able to set norton to leave the game alone or put it in game mode no?

So insert the CD or is this a game you downloaded from a torrent and you dont have a CD in which case I cant help you.

DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS ONLINE 000000c0 problem

Need some help my computer im trying to download DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS ONLINE (AKA DDO) but then it said i was violting a code (00418107) so i had to cheak a 000000C0 address it saidand when i try to download it turnine way and original way it doesnt download it just STOPS so i need some help and info on address 000000C0

Sounds like you are trying to download illegally why not just go buy the game and I believe it is a memory error more detail would be needed but I suspect this post will be closed.

As DDO is a Mass Multiplayer online (MMO) it cannot be downloaded and played illegally, He might have bought it online, and downloading it.

call of duty freeze problem

Games Freezing, Odd Colours, Sound Repeating, Unresponsive

Hey,

So here's the gist of things. When playing Modern Warfare 2 or Counter Strike Source, the game will freeze, the display will go... crazy? There are weird colors everywhere, and dots and lines, a blip of the sound repeats, and the machine becomes completely unresponsive. The only way to get back to normal is to hard reboot the machine.

reformatted

If it's any use, I was also getting the "nv4_disp" error quite often for about 4 days. Then it seemed to disappear, didn't see that problem for a bit, then this started. I reformatted after the 5th time it happened, tried it again and it is still happening.

I am in shock. Complete shock.

I got the machine back, had a little problem with the BIOS being set to boot to disc, not HD. I fixed that in a minute; the guys at the shop accidentally took my XP disc again, haha.

So, it booted up for the first time at home. It had a brand new 8600 GTS inside, which was the original card this machine had been purchased with. It was under warranty, etc, and they popped in a new one, installed the drivers and gave it back to me.

Apparently, they didn't test it.

In both MW2 and CS Source, the texture replacement thing had happened, along with the freezing, sound stuttering and repeating; and I had to hard reboot the machine to get back to the desktop with normal functions. But, there were no artifacts or funny colours like the previous times. There is still an obvious problem, it's like... it's still pork, just with a different spice.

I stared in amazement, and screamed "WHAT?!"

This doesn't make ANY sense.

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM HERE?

Edit: Nvidia released new 8 series drivers on the 26th.
Updating did nothing at all. Problem still continues. I have found not one person with the same problem or any information relating to this problem.

I have installed resident evil 4.. But when I click on game.exe, it says that game.exe has encountered a problem and the application needs to be closed. We are sorry for the inconvenience..
